Citrus Comic Difficult Cameo by Collon28 Citrus Comic Difficult Cameo by Collon28
Special guest star, my e-pal :icongrigori77:

I was wondering if I could make a caricature of people using the "Producer" style of art, but ultimately decided probably not. But who knows, I might try again in the future.

I've already made him aware that his tail is a pain in the proverbial ass to draw. Maybe he can sympathize, probably not; he draws his own tail with superb skill.

Sorry I haven't been commenting, I'm about 1100 deviations behind, but I really do enjoy your comics

Heh, you and me both, Fellow Artist.

But that's good to know that you dig my comic. A pleasure to know I have a Producer in you. :)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ... ooh, you bugger. I really can't think of anything more intelligent to say, my brain's still all seized up from laughing so hard ... :XD:

Thanks, anyways. :manhug:

So glad you enjoyed it (or at least I assume you did). A little useless trivia, I drew Nemo's body in my sketchbook, but left out his head, not sure at the time just what it would look like. When it was time for placement and corrections in Photoshop, I studied your ID on DA, then drew it on the Tablet from there. I must say it was fun to draw, especially the ears and hair.
Be forewarned, there might be a part two to this one someday.
Once again, glad you liked and thanks for the fave.

You're welcome, and yeah, I really did like it A LOT. :XD: It was very flattering, just the right side of playful ribbing. Feel free to do it again, I look forward to it. ;)

Looking at it, I'm disappointed with Panel 2's tail; it looks like someone broke it. Oh well.

Do you use a tablet or a mouse? I still find my linework to be pretty clumsy with a mouse, but I know I'll be much smoother once I got the right gear.

I do use a tablet, a Wacom Bamboo which serves me well, but it still doesn't account for much if one doesn't have a steady hand.

That's what I have my eye on actually. Thankfully I have JUST ABOUT enough in my budget right now, so tomorrow ... :fingerscrossed:

Yeah I find the Bamboo is a good solid tablet while also being decently priced. Man alive though I was annoyed when I killed my first one after having it only a week.

Donno, his tail isn't much different from a Kius tail - just with more tattoo and less hair at the end ;P
But then you don't draw many Kiuses either (lolz)

Is it my imagination or is Chaz getting taller? (Not in this comic - he's pretty consistent here - but in general)

Anyway, the joke is good for a chuckle :)

He's a growing young boy, what else can I say?

Well I CAN say that's your typical cartoonist inconsistencies. I attempt to keep in mind the size differences between Razz and Chaz. Technically Chaz is taller with his stem, but ultimately, Razz is taller. Sometimes I can keep the balance, sometimes not. Photoshop and the whole adjustment thing only works to a point.
That and my unsteady inking hand. Thanks for the comment, Dear Sister.

Lol, don't you just HATE it when other peoples characters don't fit?!

I save my hate for harsher things, but it does create big problems when one wants to include their pals into a particular art style where they don't belong. Thanks for the comment.
